English Selection

A selection of the finest English artisan cheeses (1kg) with tasting notes. This selection is packaged in our Cheddar Deli bag or white cartons with straw for protection. Other items can be added to complement your selection.

  • Montgomery Cheddar – One of the few truly traditional, handmade, unpasteurised types of Cheddar produced by James Montgomery in Somerset, England. Deep, rich, nutty flavours. (England – cow's milk – unpasteurised)
  • Old Roan Wensleydale - Matured for three to four months, they make the cheese not quite as crumbly as its modern relations, with a fresh, sharp yet light flavour and supple creamy texture.  (England – cow's milk – unpasteurised)
  • Colston Bassett - Regarded as one of the best traditionally made naturally crusted Stiltons in the country, this cheese is mature with good blueing and rich, deep, herbaceous flavours. (England – cow's milk – pasteurised)
  • Waterloo - A mild, semi-soft cheese made from Guernsey milk sourced from a farm near Henley. Made using washed curd method, which tempers the acidity and contributes to a soft, gentle, buttery flavour. (England - cow's milk – unpasteurised – vegetarian)
